Vidar Family

A beautiful family spent a cold winters morning with me at Queens Gardens in Nelson. Dad works away quite a bit so a fun family shoot was a perfect fit so that they all have treasured images to look at when they are missing each other. Little miss Stellar and her sister Ruby were such happy wee souls and made my job very easy with super big smiles.

Laughter, fun and lots of cuddles made this session so lovely.

France's Baby Shower

A beautiful afternoon in Richmond celebrating the soon arrival of Frances's baby with all her amazing friends. Such a beautiful family friends home with a gorgeous garden and sun streaming down. A perfect setting. It was a pleasure capturing such a special afternoon.

Sarah + Hayden // Maternity Session

Sarah was my lucky winner of a maternity session here in Nelson, and a little added bonus of my friend Poppy a makeup artist to come and add some pampering to the evening. Sarah is due her first little baby girl next month and is just glowing. Her husband Hayden joined us and we headed out to a local beach at Rabbit Island.

Sarah's baby room is pink and mint so in keeping with that theme we dressed her up in flowing mint and a floral crown. She looked amazing. Hayden didn't scrub up too bad either and these two were just a delight to work with.

I can't wait to meet your wee girl very soon.

Food Styling | Talley's Fish

When I was asked recently to capture some images for Talley's, a Nelson seafood company, I was quite excited. I really enjoy challenging myself in executing a design brief and what the clients wanted. I also love food styling, so this was perfect. I travelled over to Motueka where a ship had just come in full of these beautiful fresh Tarakihi. The added bonus was I got to wear a pretty sexy net hat, white coat and white gumboots! Fashion statement of 2015!

We had great fun shooting out there and I'm really pleased with the result. Not bad for what you can do with a wee fish huh!
