Where are you based?
Nelson, Tasman but we love to travel throughout all of New Zealand.
Do you include the digital files?
Yes, high-resolution digital jpeg files are included as standard. These files are identical to our own copies so you are able to make your own prints from the files (or of course can arrange your printing through us). However we never give out the RAW files, you will only get the images that have been processed to the highest standard in Jpeg format.
How much do you charge for travel?
For shoots/weddings outside of Nelson we charge .80c per km if we drive (the first 100 kms are included in our prices). For shoots/weddings further afield additional travels and accommodation costs will apply. Please ask us for a custom quote!
What’s your deposit/payment structure and do you have a contract?
A non-refundable deposit of 50NZD for 1 hour shoots, 200NZD for half day shoots and 1000 NZD is required to secure your wedding date (2000 NZD if a destination wedding). 2 weeks before the day, 50% of total balance is due and the final balance is due after the wedding and before delivery of high-resolution files and/or albums. We have a terms and conditions form that we all sign when you book with us and other payment structures can be discussed.
When will my images be ready?
Final images will be ready 3 weeks after wedding/shoot day. Albums are ready 4–6 weeks once final layout has been approved.
How many images will I get and can I print from the disc?
We work on a minimum of 600 high-resolution jpeg images (for all-day coverage) but don’t have a fixed limit of the number of shots we give you.
Do you offer albums?
We adore our art book albums! They come custom designed in a storyboard layout to showcase your wedding story. We prefer to use Queensburry.
Can we meet up for a chat and see some more of your work?
Of course! We won’t take a booking unless we’ve met in person or chatted on Skype to check that you + we will make a winning team and you feel 100% confident we’re right for you, especially as we’ll be with you all day on one of the most important days of your life!
What happens if I need to cancel or move my wedding day?
Your deposit can be transferred to a new date, but only if we are available. Let us know asap so we can discuss your options. Your deposit is non-refundable so cancelling your deposit will mean you won’t receive a refund.
I want to book you! What happens next?
The exciting bit! If we are available on your shoot/wedding date and once we’ve had a chat in person or via Skype, let us know the good news and we’ll get the ball rolling with the deposit. We accept direct credit via internet banking or cash payments.
